Updating my review. I think they took the negative to heart because the food here was delightful today. The Singapore Noodle and General Tso's Chicken were some of the best I've had here in the Springs. Will be back.

We just moved from Flying Horse where we would order from New Panda on Voyager Parkway. The quality of food and quantity were excellent. We now live in Wolf Ranch and decided to try China Menu because we are outside New Panda's delivery service area. Unfortunately I didn't look at Yelp before I ordered. My experience was like many others apparently. We ordered pork egg rolls, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and sweet & sour chicken. Disgusting. It took exactly one hour to be delivered. We live 0.4 miles away. I had to call to verify they received my order. The egg rolls had a chemical taste to them.....bad oil?? The soup was average at best. The chicken. First it was neon red. The chicken was overcooked, chewy and small. The quantity was laughable. It barley covered the bottom of the tray. DO NOT EAT HERE. Seriously. It was that bad.

The food was not awful nor was it something to write home about. The sweet and sour sauce was a bit scary-served from a squeeze bottle like ketchup and really runny and blood red and tasteless. It was very expensive for the portion sizes and quality. $50 for two main dishes and one side. We were the only customers at 1 pm on a Sunday, something that should have set off an alarm.

I sure strike out on local Chinese. Get a menu in the mail that proudly proclaims free delivery and think "great, one more place that delivers out here to try on my quest to avoid the ones that I've developed a vendetta against", give them a call and no, they can't possibly be bothered to deliver to me because I'm not in their zipcode. Didn't even offer to do it at delivery charge. No courtesy discount if I come pick it up for accidentally mailing things to people they don't serve. Couldn't've taken them up on a carry out offer right now anyways, but it would've been a nice gesture and put them on my list of places to try in the future. So. The food may be wonderful but I will once again never know because of the service.

Horrible food, fried food tasted as if the grease was old and rancid, Lo Mein had a plastic taste??? Never again.

Ordered delivery. They promised delivery in 30 - 40 minutes, but arrived in 25 minutes. Large servings with plenty of spice; quite tasty. The spring rolls could have been more thoroughly cooked, but were still ok. Can't say anything about the location or inside service, but I will giving it another try soon...this time in person.

Not very good... Egg rolls tasted like cleaning chemicals or something. I ordered the Orange Chicken at lunch. Not a very big portion either. Rice was crunchy and didn't taste fresh. Good service, just not very good food.

We haven't had very much luck with ordering from Chinese restaurants in C.S. especially if we want that "home" feel to it. However, the food from here was extremely delicious and beautifully set on the plates. I was able to get my fill from an old favorite of mine while my husband enjoyed his sweet and sour pork. My only issue with this restaurant was our server. She was extremely rude and it felt like we were wasting her time. Her boss checked on us more then she did! Which is why we only gave her a $1. If they got rid of the waitress and had someone a little more friendly and upbeat, I would be coming back here again. But, until then I won't. She looks like the type that would spit in your food if you've gotten on her bad side.

Meh. Very disappointed. Egg rolls tasted like salt licks disguised in a crispy, fried shell. Rest of the food was your typical equivalent of "Asian Sysco". No different than the 10.000 other "Chinese" restaurants. If anyone finds a real Chinese eatery in America these days, please tell me.

We ordered delivery and it was taking over an hour and half (no exaggeration, we ordered at 11 so that we can have enough time to eat during our lunch break) so we called back and the driver never even left because the lady that took our order cancelled our order for no reason

What a find! Tonight we took a chance, celebrating my wife's birthday at China Menu, and we couldn't be more delighted. The dining room was tastefully decorated and very clean. We ordered Mu Shu Pork, Sweet and Sour Chicken, vegetable Lo mein, and moo go gai pan. All of it was AMAZING, but especially the Mu Shu Pork and moo goo gai pan. Eight of us ate to our fill for under $60! We will definitely return.

It's easy to see why this place is doomed to fail, 6pm on a Sunday evening during the Chinese New Year and not a single person eating in. Plus the fact that our take-out order was messed up and the only offer they could make was to credit the missed meal back to my CC or I could drive back to the restaurant to pick it up. Thanks for the wonderful service Melissa!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
